The Idaho Matadors are a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for athletes in the Treasure Valley to continue their football careers beyond that of high school or college. The members of the team descend from diverse backgrounds yet work together and share a common passion for the game of football.
The Matadors believe in clean, aggressive, highly competitive football. Continuously, the team strives to represent itself as a professional organization built with hard work and dedication.
The Idaho Matadors joined forces with the Meridian Police Activities League youth football program for the fall 2010 season in an effort to improve the quality and consistency of officials for their youth football program. This Fall 2011, the Matadors continue their parternship with the Meridian PAL. Please visit www.meridianpal.org for more information.
The Matadors believe that all children deserve a Christmas. The 'Dors did their part again this year to assist the Toys for Tots program in distribution, sorting and collecting toys for our Treasure Valley youth. The team was able to help ten families directly through team donations and also partnered with another local non-profit as another 300 families were served. Below you will see pictures of the 'Dors sorting through 300 bags of toys.
