ROSTER SHAKEUP
The 2013 squad will have quite the footsteps to follow, last year's group put up record performances on both the
offensive and defensive ends, which led them to a franchise high 10 victories with their only loss coming in the RMFL
championship game. Most notably will be transition to a new QB1 as Mitch Bourner takes over for Tom Bennett.
Bennett led the team to an 18-4 mark in has last two years and is now in charge of an Idaho Lancer program that will
host the Matadors in week 1 of the regular season. On the defensive side, the team will need to make up some huge
contributions from outgoing linebackers Charles Green (37 total tackles, 3rd on team) and Brooks Engstrom
(47 total tackles, led team). Former All Star DE Joel Gunstream will also need to be replaced, as he closed the 2012
campaign with 21.5 total tackles, 5 sacks and another 5 tackles for loss.
